Mario is wonderful! We go here quite often for lunch and he truly cares about his customers.
Their bread and butter is delicious as well as their pizza! We are lucky to have this place on Gold River! -

Was in town for a business trip and this place had an appealing menu. Was in a welcoming location. The food was amazing! The mussels were a nice surprise, they weren't in a traditional garlic lemon juice but more of a chili sauce and it was delicious! They were not super busy, but they could have used an extra set of hands that day. Our server seemed very rushed and pushy to get our order in, we weren't even greeted. Overall, this is a cute little italian family place and the food did not disappoint.

We had a truly amazing meal celebrating a birthday. Each dish we shared around the table was spectacular. The delightful owner, Mario, was our server. He went out of his way to ensure we were well cared for and pleased with the meal. Then he really outdid himself with two deserts offered & enjoyed, accompanied by a nice port on the house. Generous gift from a very generous host! Thanks
We'll be back soon -

The service is TOP NOTCH. Mario was the wait person and also the owner. I worked in the restaurant business and am now a business consultant so I notice. Mario took care of every client smoothly and non invasively. Even a client who struggled to get out the door due to a physical disability was supported with grace and no drama.
The food was good. Thai muscles and steak. I was concerned that some special requests may be frowned upon or tricky but no. Absolutely not.
A complimentary glass of port. How sweet.
Thank you Mario. We shall be back. -

Let me start by saying, I've lived nearby for over 20 years and this past weekend I made my first visit. Extremely disappointed with the service here, and frankly, wish that visit had never occurred. Decided to give the place a shot, with a group of girls and it was just all pretty bad (besides the food, hence the two stars).
We ordered our food, food arrived for only 70% of the crew. The 30% waited for their dish while the 70% were eating. Mind you, no apologies for a delay to our order. I'm assuming this was so embarrassing for the waiter, he offered a side salad on the house. Thank you, sir.
However, a tip from someone who has never been in the industry, you either serve everyone's food late or no ones. It's rather simple. This is the poorest service a restaurant can provide and most definitely quite rude. I mean, think about it, you're sitting in your seat while everyone else is enjoying their food and you look like an idiot outcast.
Don't waste your time here, and, better yet, your weekend dinner. Go somewhere else and do your RESEARCH beforehand. Read these reviews (something I didn't do, which is rare, and I wish I would have).
Also, as I walked up to the bar to ask for a bag, a lady sitting at the bar asked me rudely what I wanted? Umm who are you again? I was so confused because I wasn't sure if she was intoxicated or an actual employee? Or both?
Finally, thanks for the buttery goodness, but I still won't be back. Deuces
